I tried to rid as much of my bias as I possibly could while watching, which is practically impossible, but trust this: I am a huge film enthusiast and when it comes to films, I can pretty much keep my bias in check. So when I say it was one of the best indie films I have ever watched, I mean it as a moviegoer and a moviewatcher, not as a Chris fan (even though that undeniably plays a part too.) I can’t say much without getting sued for LIFE but rave at how incredible it is. It is not like any other movie I have ever seen. It will make you laugh, not the expecting to laugh cause you feel a funny line coming up, but the unexpected and catching you off guard and laughing so hard you’re wheezing and clapping. It will make you cry. Endlessly. It is a gem. It is Chris’s heart and soul. It is Chris’s best work and acting yet. It will move you. It will strike deep within your soul. It will leave you with a message you can hold to your heart. Everyone can walk away from this and feel like it can apply to them, it will sink deep within the corners of their mind where insecurities lie and soothe them, it will curl in the corners of your heart and tug at every heartstring, it will shake you to the core. A movie unparalleled, imo. It is, quite honestly, my favorite movie ever. See it opening weekend.
